easy to install & work well. Hope they are "enduring". We used these on our motorhome. 2001 Winnebago Brave. The old ones had worn out & some missing, and lids would "drop" on you if you didn't hold them up. This makes it much better to go into the storage areas.

Bought a motorhome and all the gas shocks were trashed. Tired of hatches hitting me on the head. Turns out only needed to replace one side to keep a small hatch up. Saved a couple bucks, since these are pricey, but very good.

Bought 16 and they are working fine so far. Install was easy on my 34 foot Coach basement doors. I see some people say they will not open unless help raising. My doors are heavy and once up half way they lift and stay up as should. Only needed one on smaller doors. Good product and Great price.......These are over 30% off RV sites or stores.

Great price. Work just like the originals from Winnebago but much less in price.UpdateOn my first order the price was for a package of two springs. I reordered assuming it would be the same quantity but I only received one spring. This is a good product but can be purchased for a much cheaper price from other sources. RVupgrades.com has them for $9.64

Perfect fit for my Itasca Suncruiser. Be careful prying off not to break the paint along the edge of the panel. put tape on the edge.

Easy to install, but I ordered the wrong pressure (-60) means 60 lbs force. Way too much for my purpose.

I added this gas strut / spring to a flip up bed in our Class B RV. It already had one strut from the factory, but the mattress was heavier than the stock strut could hold up. So I matched this one to the one Winnebago had already installed and added it as a second strut on the opposite of the flip up bed. Works like a charm baby.
