I use this mat for building Metal Earth models. It is is generously sized, thick and well made. The little compartments around the perimeter keep parts and tools organized. I don’t use it as a cutting mat and I don’t think it is designed for that either. I keep a small cutting mat nearby for that purpose. The texture of the material is smooth but has a slight grippiness so parts stay in place and you don’t have to chase them around. Material is non—reflective so you never have a glare issue from your lighting. Blue color is easy on the eyes, too.

It's a very nice mat. I use it as my working mat for my YouTube channel, as it helps with color balance and allows me to see what I am working on. It is very large and easy to clean.Bonus: It's the same size as the camera frame I use in my videos, so keeping things on camera is easy.Stop looking and get this one. You will be happy you did.

I like the size and the small parts holders. Thick material should provide durability too. Numerous storage pads some having magnets help hold screws in place so they won’t get lost.

The mat makes a good surface for computer repairs and upgrades. What I especially liked was that there are dividers for parts, some of which are magnetic, so you don’t lose little things like screws. It’s easy to use the mat and it seems well-made. Overall it does exactly what is expected and then some.

What can you say about this mat. I does what it is designed to do. Protect the surface from damaging heat. It can get cluttered fast and dirty as well. My only difficult time I have with it is cleaning my dogs hair but beware, using a vacuum ....static build up, sucking up parts you need, can lead to other problems. All in all it is a good buy.
