Well when this arrived I just couldn’t help myself and my inner child took the wheel for a while. After fixing my oven that was leaking , it was time to play . Let me just say that this tool works really well picking up methane gas . That’s all I’ll give you , let your imagination run wild a bit. I highly recommend this tool and it works perfectly.

I bought three gas detectors to detect natural gas. The other two were $60 and $250. This one was by far quicker and much more sensitive. At some lower concentrations, the others said there was no gas, this one would correctly detect gas was present. It also responded much quicker, making it easier to find a leak.Some may confused by what the numbers mean. One is temperature and the other humidity. I wish it would give some sort of concentration numbers, like ppm or % of LEL.

I didn't need a super professional detector as a homeowner to find a small leak on a new range install. Tried the soapy water method and couldn't locate it. Ended up ordering this meter and worked to find a leaking fitting. Saved me hours and headaches

This is great to have if you have a gas stove. It detected a slight gas leak in our rental. It is very easy to use. It comes with a nice carrying case to store it. The stove is replaced now, and I am thankful for this tool.

Deze meter gaat echt geen kleine gaslekken constateren. De hoge gevoeligheid is niet aanwezig. Pas toen ik deze bij een gasfornuis hield, werd er gas gedetecteerd. Lage concentraties werden niet ontdekt. Kortom niet tevreden.
