Very nice glass butter dish just need to use thin sticks of butter or it gets stuck in the lid.

Great if you are using it for an occasion but not suited for day to day use. The lid does not seat well and it does not seal properly. The lid is difficult to lift from the knob because it is very small. Looks great. Clear glass is sturdy. Good deal just not for everyday.

I needed a butter dish for the fridge. I like this one because it is slim and simple and it was inexpensive. It is so much nicer to pull this out than butter wrapped in the paper. It won't hold the larger or wider size butter, or cream cheese so if that's what you want, this one is not for you. If you need a butter dish for plain old east coast butter, this is perfect! I recommend it.

HI - This butter dish works just fine, but 2 things to note that I didn't when I bought it:1 - it's quite narrow. Yes, the stick of butter fits, but there's no wiggle room. If you don't lower the cover on straight, you'll easily bump the butter and get it on the cover,2 - the glass knob on top works. But as an older person, I do worry about it slipping out of my grasp. I wish the knob was more "knobby" - more to grab.BUT - I do like it. I like the clear butter dish, so I can see how much is in there from a glance. The price was good and it works.

Superior quality. This butter dish was inexpensive but looks very nice on the table. I love the knob on the top that enables you to lift the lid easily. Just what I wanted.

This is kind of a silly butter dish. The base is good for thin and thick bars of butter but the lid nests into the base, taking up space and is very narrow. So this is only good for narrow bars of butter (The opening is about an eight of an inch more than 1.5 inches wide) and even then it's tight so there will always be a butter mess on the inside of the lid. Not my favorite purchase. But the base is a great size for either type of butter shape. They just did a good job hiding the dumb narrowness of it in the product pictures.

I live in the Midwest. We keep our butter out on the counter, it’s a thing. This glass butter dish is perfect because I can see the butter easily and know it’s there. The dish is very high quality with thick glass. I just know if it ever broke, it wouldn’t shatter into a million little pieces. That understanding makes me content with the decision of buying this dish! It fits one stick of butter with ease and keeps my butter for a long time. The dish doesn’t necessarily “seal†but more so just provides “lidâ€. Which works perfectly fine. I also throw this bad boy in the dishwasher to get clean. Any time I don’t have to clean something by hand is a good day!

This butter dish is very cute and the knob on top is so handy. Although it holds a full stick of butter, it is so skinny that the butter smears onto both sides of the lid. I wouldn't order it again.

This butter dish is too narrow for a standard 250gm block of butter. I checked the length which was standard but did not check the width. Never seen narrow dishes like this. Had to cut up butter pack into pieces. Also not easy to pick up the lid as handle is small. So disappointed. Can't be bothered to return. Also Amazon driver left outside the house by my neighbours dustbin! It remained there all night.

Ok for 1/4lb of butter but the small glass handle on top is hard to grip. Could use a wee redesign.

Had to return this product because very narrow - doesn't hold UK butter.
