I purchased this unit as an alternative to simply tossing away all my nostalgic old cassette tapes. But this small item turned out to be a surprisingly nice stereo CD/cassette/radio player. First of all, the unit is extremely compact, not much bigger across than a CD. This is a very desirable feature wherever space is at a premium. Secondly, it has a well-made, quality feel to it. The cassette press-buttons seem solid. Both the cassette door and the CD door have movement dampers that provide a very nice elegance not expected in an item of this moderate price. Thirdly, the AM/FM radio has digital tuner, so stations can by locked in with precision. And FM reception is unexpectedly good, at least in my hilly area. Finally, the speaker sound is quite good -- not state-of-the-art, mind you, but definitely satisfactory for a unit of this size. I noticed a slight raspiness at high frequencies on my old cassettes; probably because this player apparently does not have the old Dolby noise-reduction technology. I performed a direct one-on-one sound comparison with my Bose Wave Radio, using Bose's demonstration CD. The Bose sounds better, as expected, but of course at about 6 times the cost of this little unit. The headphone jack is a nice feature, and stereo sound through headphones is excellent! The remote works well, too (but you can't operate cassette functions with the remote). In sum, if you purchase this player without having unrealistically high expectations, you will be happily satisfied with its performance. It is well-designed and has a lot going for it.

It works as described . Sound is good . Very compact . Like everything about it . Ease of use . Remote works good . Great value . Also like the design .

At first I thought it wouldn't work but finally found the power button after reading the insert. It seemed to have a small click sound on the cd but was not annoying. It was loud enough and the remote seems like a good idea. smaller than expected but a nice compact size. I live that it has a USB port and not sure I can record on it but almost sure sure I can listed to a flash drive (haven't experimented with that as of yet.

Pro: CDs have good clarityCon: 1) Poor radio reception even w. antennae extended. My Google Nest, placed in the same location, has excellent reception.2) The On button is also the function button. You have to press that button several times to get to either the CD or radio function.3) The panel readout is in code, such as “7AP†or “U5bâ€, so you don’t know what function the radio is in.4) Once you choose the radio, the panel gets dark in a few seconds, so it’s hard to read the station numbers.

Liked that it was compact, had cassette and cd player. Sound is ok. It plays and that’s all I cared about, as I wasn’t wanting expense of big stereo. It was packed well.

Compacto, pequeño y coqueto, en el que todo funciona correctamente. Para el lector USB, el mando a distancia es capaz de seleccionar carpetas. Dicho mando es de tacto eficaz y proyecta perfectamente las funcionalidades. Globalmente, el aparato presenta una aceptable calidad de materiales y acabado. Si hubiera que ponerle algún punto negativo serÃa a la potencia musical, algo escasa, pero no al sonido en sÃ, que es claro y nÃtido. En definitiva, a dÃa de hoy, un muy buen aparato.

La soddisfazione di poter riascoltare delle vecchie cassette è impagabile.Sono molto soddisfatto del mio acquisto, anche il lettore CD e la radio funzionano benissimo.
