I had bought a Japanese grater and had a hard time getting the fine crumbs out. This brush worked perfectly to resolve that in seconds! It's tiny so it doesn't take up much room in the drawer.

I use this for my grated garlic and it seems to be holding up well. I hand wash it after each use so it doesn't sit in water too long. I had a nylon brush previously and fibers kept pulling out...and into my garlic.

I bought this for a different purpose than what it was designed for.I have a granite mortar and pestle that I use for grinding herbs and spices, and pureeing garlic with salt.Until I bought this brush, I didn't have a good way of getting what I was grinding out of the mortar. I'd dump it and some still remained. So I could sweep it out of the mortar with my hands for dry seasoning which was fine, and either scoop out with a my fingers or a spoon in the case of garlic. I didn't want to have the garlic smell on my fingers, and I didn't like the idea of a metal spoon rubbing against the stone mortar. So I bought this little bamboo brush that I use like a mini broom, sweeping the puree and seasonings out of the mortar. It does a better job than what I had before. The brush might work better if the bristles were a little shorter, but the fix for that is fairly straightforward

Wanted this to “sweep out” a ceramic garlic grater dish. Bristles were falling out of my old brush. This is perfect! Stiff enough to get the garlic out of the “nooks”, easy to clean.

This product does what it needs to however, the bamboo is really thin is some spots and has lost some of the ‘tines’.

It's a very small brush but it's made for a small grater . We use it to get the yuzu peel or wasabi we've grated onto sushi.

I bought a ceramic grater to make beautiful garlic paste, but I struggled to get the paste out of all the little nubs. With my very quick research I saw I needed one of these little bamboo brushes. It's perfect for getting all of the paste out of the grater - soft enough to flex between the nubs, but firm enough to actually push the paste out. There's a reason these have been used for such a long time traditionally!

As expected. No issues. A little pricy compared to buying in Japan.
