Just remember to lube the screw.It makes a difference with tools like this.Anti-seize works well.

This is certainly a tool that is worth the money. I have done many break jobs and pushing back the pistons was always a hassle. It took less than a minute with this tool. Very easy to use. TIP: leave the old brake pads in place when using the tool to push back the pistons.

I'm a professional mechanic for a luxury car manufacturer and this tool has made me a lot of money by time saved. The tool the manufacturer sells is 10 times more expensive and does the same job this tool does.

I purchased this brake caliper tool to replace a similar one I have. This tool looked more solid and it is but...... the threads are cut square and that makes it very hard to turn when it's applying force. Yes I lubricated it before I used it. I finally purchase one for $90 on the internet made for Mercedes vehicle and it works very well.

Works great!. Also came in handy removing a seized rotor. Put it between the calliper mounting bracket and the back side of the rotor, tightened it up as hard as I could using it’s 1/2 drive socket, quick tap with a 4lb sledge and said rotor came flying off. Meanwhile, I’d spent most of the previous day banging the crap out of the opposite side rusted-on rotor before I’d thought of using this calliper tool for rotor removal. D’uh me!..lol

This looked good on your site, however it doesn't work very well once it's put to use. I'm learning though on which items to buy and what to leave alone if that matters.

Awesome tool, I’ve done many brake jobs, and this is so much easier than a c-clamp. I wish I’d bought one years ago!
