This pet door is very well made, with metal parts, not plastic. It was easy to install and the door seal works well to keep cold air out. The sliding door panel works well and conveniently locks in place.

I bought this to replace a dog door that I had which was made of plastic. My dogs literally tore the old one apart. This one was easy enough to install, the size was bigger than my old one but still fine, and it feels well made. I have big dogs, a small dog, and two cats. Even the cats (20lbs each) can get through the flaps with no issues. The flaps keep it well insulated, much better than the old one. It functions as intended. I got this dog door at a better price than the big box stores in my area and it's better built.

This doggy door has been the perfect solution for my 65-pound husky-golden mix. The quality is excellent, it’s sturdy, and it was easy to install—I set it up on my own without any trouble. My dog uses it constantly, and it has held up well against both the Texas heat and the snowstorm we experienced last week. I’m very satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend it to other dog owners.

I replaced the one flap doggie door with this 3 flap door due to a week of frigid temps in our area. This one helps hold down the cold air that enters the house while I’m gone to work. I put on the metal cover at night. The only problem is that sometimes the flaps don’t always go back to the ideal position as shown in pics. I wish this didn’t happen. Therefore, the purpose is not served well to hold down the incoming air. Overall I’m pleased. Easy install since the former one was the same size. Durable for my pit mix. Looks nice.

Well made all metal dog door to replace an existing plastic broken dog door.Installation was straight forward and fit & function are good.This model also includes an insulated flap to help keep out the cold.

This is the 3rd pet door we put in. The 1st was too small, the 2nd was all plastic poor-quality junk, and this one is where it's at. This door has an all-metal frame construction and a metal door to go on the inside with a latch. I come with Stainless Steel and nylon screws. I used the Stainless. It has 3 flaps, inside, insulator, and outside, that makes it more efficient. All-in-all I would recommend this door.

This replaced our old dog door that was almost the exact same size cut out. The install wasn’t terrible considering the hole in the door was already there and it just needed new holes for the bolts. The nylon ones are flimsy but work. The metal ones need to be longer and similar to cabinet hardware bolts that you can trim. Otherwise, there’s hardly any draft coming through and my dogs adjusted to the non-see-through flaps quickly. It’s as energy efficient as a dog door can get without being an electronic door. I’m expecting a large saving on my energy bill.
