Thanks to Amazon, some of these old parts can now be found. I was told several years ago by my handy man that this unit was old and replacements were not readily available so I limped along with a glued cap and even this handle was glued on. When it fell off I thought why not try to find a new one. This was it and it fit like a glove. It looks so much better now.

My tenant broke the old bath/shower handle. I called a plumber and he said he can't get old American Standard parts anymore. He quoted me $800 to install a new valve inside the wall. I took a chance on this Lasco handle. It fit perfectly and was easy to install and best of all, it saved me $800. I ordered a second one just to have on hand for the future.

We bought an older home and the guest shower handle was broke off. The plumber quoted us $1000 to upgrade as he said there was no fixing it. Thankful to found this on Amazon. Figured worth a shot and it fit perfect and now we don't have to replumb the shower!

I have several mobile homes that are rented. This is the exact part needed for the shower faucet. I could not find them anywhere else. After 6 months of looking this turned up here to be the exact replacement part. And it had free returns if it was wrong.Thank you Amazon.

Great as a replacement but the plastic doesn't survive shipping.Since installing it I've had to tighten it 4 additional times so it may not last
