It is a good even shape and sharp. Cuts well, but after many uses, one of the 2 spot welds popped on my most frequently used size.

I recently built a swim platform for my boat and wanted to cover the fiberglass gel coat with one of those cushioned nonslip flooring materials. The problem is I have a number of fasteners protruding from the top of the platform which hold it to the brackets below. My choice was to just cover the fastener heads with the flooring which would make them inaccessible (and leave a void were the flooring could eventually lift) or cut them out. The better choice in my mind was to cut them out but how do you make a perfectly round hole in a cushioned flooring material so that it looks good? I had contemplated using various sized hole saws and gently trying to drill them out until I happened across these circle cutters. These things worked perfectly. I placed the flooring on a piece of plywood, traced the fastener locations on the flooring, and then proceeded to use the circle cutters to make the holes. To insure that I didn't damage the cutters I put a block of wood on the top of the cutter and struck it with a mallet. Besides protecting the cutter the block of wood distributed the mallet hit more equally across the cutter. All it took was a couple blows and I was left with a perfect hole. I had a couple people ask were I got this mat made for me and were shocked when I told them I made it myself and inquired how I could make such perfectly aligned holes.

I use these in my Tandy Pro press that has a special foot attachment for pressing out small steel rule dies. Makes an incredibly clean and precise circle every time.It comes with a cute little self-healing mat that makes an excellent punching surface, and prevents the blades on the dies from dulling during use.I just wish that they came in more sizes. I was able to find another fender to get the larger sizes I needed, but this package was an excellent starting point.

Very flimsy and with the way they are welded together they are not really circle shape and are some off circle shape. Most sizes cannot be used to cut a true circle.

I used this to make aluminum circle stickers from aluminum “duct†tape for a project I was making.Nice to have the included case and self healing mini mat. I used a scrap piece of wood so that the hammer blow was spread evenly.I have not tried it on other materials yet but they are sharp.

I used this product to upgrade a set of plastic chess pieces. Cut circles of fabric out with leather cutting tools; took off the original cheap thin fabric that was on the pieces; filled the hollow center with a combination of lead BB shot and hot glue; then applied the new felt bottoms. Doubled the weight of the pieces. Perfect.A little time and effort but much cheaper than buying a weighted set.The cutters were accurate and sharp. Everything came well packaged. I could cut the felt with only my hand pressing down on them, but a quick hit with a mallet was much easier and faster.I just wish the included cutting matt fit in the plastic storage container for the cutters. But the little cardboard box it all came works fine.

. . . . . and do a great job on 3mm cork. Can't comment on leather.

This would be best suited for light weight leather. It does not work for what I needed... 7-10 oz leather and I need to punch 5000. I didnt even get the first one punched and had to use a knife to finish
