Used 2 of these in a antique Nu-grape hanging wall clock. That needed rewiring. Used the LED low wattage bulbs that have a medium base. Worked great for the clock.

For unknown reasons the light socket we had (a two prong versus the traditional socket) melted. Luckily no fire was started but all the plastic was charred and melted. The rest of the dome light was in perfect condition and I researched various light sockets. I kept reading how ceramic can be stronger, can withstand head, no likely to melt. I didn’t want to worry, since I have 2 small kids in the house, so I replaced the burnt one as well as the other ceiling lights with this. Super easy to install, looks great, cost effective and great peace of mind. I highly recommend.

I wanted to upgrade a single-light dome light to a dual-light. It was very easy to wire in, frankly much simple than getting the dome up and fitted properly. Works great; exactly what I wanted!I would have bought this at Radio Shack back in the day though.

These are perfect replacement fixtures for the "Red Dot" landscape lights. These can be screwed on in the same way they are on the landscape lights. These made my lights like new as many of the lights were badly corroded or the wires broke off. These fixed them.

Was able to replace the burned out sockets in my kitchen fixture and extend its life for a few years. Good quality and price for something I consider a specialty item (due to the attached bracket on each socket).

Purchased these for converting some halogen fixtures into more traditional bulb types. Used L brackets with screws to mount them. Feels high quality and durable and arrived intact and on time.Would take a star off simply because it is an addon item. Even though I purchased 4 of these and exceeded the minimum dollar requirement, I still had to purchase something non addon for the order to go through. But this is an amazon issue not a seller or item issue.
