Installed Easy and works like a charm. Put these on with the Lippert Screen protector for our camper doors. They close the screen door nicely without the need for any adjustments and the screen door will say open when latched to the outside door without trying to pull it shut. I wish I knew about these on our last camper....

It is not super powerful but with a little nuge or if it is closing from an open position it works fine and won't slam the screen door. It won't close the outer door if the screen door is latched to it however this would have just been a bonus if it did. The tube the spring and strap are in was slightly too short (22" model) for the fittings at the ends to be snug however I just took some cardboard from the box it came in and put it in the end with the spring to lengthen it overall to get it snug. It would have probably been fine without it but I wanted a little more surface contacting the door when it was pushing. The strap that goes into the door frame had some extra strap after they eyelit but you can cut it off and melt the end to keep it from fraying. It may be best to put the screw as far as you can go into the frame to get the most pull from the spring.

Instructions and installation was straight forward after the correct screen shot was delivered! First delivery was intact and showed no damage and indicated it was the correct size for my door.(30â€) However after determining that some of the pieces supplied didn’t fit correctly. Called Lippert, took two calls to get the information I needed……one piece in the package was for a smaller door packaged by mistake. Purchase didn’t come directly through Lippert so had to return through Amazon which was easy and the second package arrived with correct components. Initially screen shot worked perfectly, however after the screen guard(separate product) was installed the door doesn’t latch every time which is related to the additional weight of the screen guard.

We live in southern GA, in the Gnat Capital of the World. Making sure the door handle access door is closed can drive you crazy as you swat and smash gnats in the RV. Install took less that 5 minutes, including cleaning the area it was mounted. Easy to follow directions, immediate results. I imagine this will also be what cat and bird owners who travel with their pets will find this something they have to install.Just make sure you don't press on the bar unit until you have it lined up and placed exactly where you want it. The adhesive tape is the same type 3M tape used to attach trim to cars.....virtually impossible to easily remove after it makes contact with the surface it attaches to.The only thing to be aware of, the spring will snap the access door shut. Small children might find their hand gets banged as the access door is closed. However, there is no other way to make sure it will close and stay closed

We ordered and reordered several times to end up with the same issue where the screen shot came with the wrong end (a solid cap that you cannot run the elastic through. After reaching out to Lippert directly, they would not send the correct end. Poor QAQC by the manufacturer.

Works great but one change we made. Putting where they recommended didn’t work as well with a door bar we have. Kept hitting it, so we put it below the door handle and slide window. Works better. No chance of hitting it now.

Ordered one of these it was missing parts. Send it back ordered another one and there was two in the package and they were missing all the parts. Also, I got the parts. It works great.

This closing device is great. Found myself always having to go back to fully close screen door. Took less than 5 mins to install. Time will tell the durability. Definitely recommend.

Looks like a good product, but I wasn’t able to install it. I ordered a 24†but they sent a 22†I assume it works well though.
