The magnet is very strong. It’s difficult to rate reception since the use of cb radios is not as popular as it was years ago. I have picked up some chats on the Turnpike and sound quality was good.

Good telescope antenna with good reception. Only thing that I am less fond off is the connection to the CB radio is not as tight as desired.
