These are well-made, with a good balance between heftiness/stiffness and ability to reach into tight spots. I've been grateful to have these in a couple of sink hardware installs. I purchased the 90-degree and the 45-degree long-reach pliars after a frustrating experience. The 90-degree pliars are perfect for reaching up into tight areas and tightening or loosening the large nuts that secure faucets and valves under sinks. I haven't found a good use for the 45-degree pliars, because the angled portions do not remain parallel when opened. The 90-degree version belongs in every plumbers tool box. The other versions may have good uses -- I just haven't found them yet -- but it's good that they are available. A 90-degree version without teeth might be useful.

This product is very useful when space is tight reaching to pick up or gripping something.

I work on 12-volt car systems a lot. When you are on the inside or outside and the only way through the firewall is a very low grommet, these are a life saver. When your arm won't fit these will get you to grab what you need. I absolutely recommend these.

So distressed to find massive amounts of lint in the bottom of the dryer vent. We religiously clean the pullout dryer vent screen after every load. Noticed the removable vent screen wasn't sitting snugly in the slot any more. Pulled it out and used a flashlight to peer deep into the bowels of the dryer vent. More lint wedged in there than we have removed in the year since we purchased the dryer. Then, how do we get it out? Nothing in the house would fit through the opening. Knew we needed something with a long handle and with pincers, something like needle nosed pliers. Turns out this fit the bill exactly. Great purchase for a fantastic price. Will be using regularly to keep the vent area clear.

I have not used these pliers much at all, only reviewing based upon overall quality. The jaws close tight at the last 1/4 inch but down the jaws from there, it is a gap--not huge but it shows poor machining. The curve on the jaws is not straight but twisted several degrees. Again, not rendering the pliers useless--they still function O K. I may have received a defective plier.
