It is unfortunate but this item came in with the tip broken off. The product looks well designed, and seems to reasonably well built.I'm not sure if this piece is replaceable. But considering that the part was broken on arrival I'm concerned it will likely break under normal use.

Incredibly strong lopper head with a great cutting angle. We have a large yard and orchard and I burn through these things - generally the handles bend but I have had a lot that the head fails.. I don't think the head will give on these. My best guess - the handles will be the weak part but they are pretty solid.Consider I abuse my loppers - tend to try to take on bigger branches that should be taken out with a chainsaw. I am a get my whole body into forcing the cut (thus the reason my loppers don't last).This set looks to be a higher quality and stronger and I am older and a bit more responsible with my tools. I am also very picky because with hundreds of thousands of cuts to make I need a tool that will hold up and work well. I am very pleased with this order.. happy with how it works. I will update if and when I wear this one out but I am thinking I may have met my match.
