These are very similar to old school made in USA table clamps that are NLA. The only thing I don't like about them is the small 8 mm stud that holds them to the table. Aside from being a little thin, it requires it to be threaded into the clamp then one has to tighten a retaining nut to hold it to table. Very inconvenient! The old ones I have use a 1/2"-13 stud fastened to the clamp and then a large wingnut to hold it to table. I drilled out what is effectively an 8 mm rivnut with a half inch drill and then cut the head off of a grade 8 1/2"-13 bolt and welded it to the clamp and added a large wing nut to hold it down. This made it nearly identical to the old made in the USA clamp I have and works well. I deducted one star for small 8 mm stud.

General use on workbench. Squash ball over the end makes it non-slip. Easy to use, good reach on it

Thread-cert thread class is very loose, poor thread engagement. I would not trust engagement force to safely hold part securely to table without thread failure. Nothing like a stable set up that fails because of clamp failure. Overall clamp assembly is good but should have M12 bolt and thread-incert. Provide a respectable thread class that does not wobble and provides full thread engagement. I am returning.

These work well but they take a bit longer to mount in place than I feel they should. Perhaps some better way to mount on the underside. Tedious to screw them into place and move them.
