This Occupancy / Vacancy Sensor PIR Wall Switch from Maxxima has dual functions. Operating as a vacancy sensor, you can manually turn on the lights and they will turn off after a pre-determined period of time in the absence of motion. Working as an occupancy sensor ensures light will automatically turn on when you enter an area as well as turns off after a pre-determined period of time.

This motion detector switch is well designed and works perfectly for me. My elderly family member would leave the lights on in the bathroom, and this perfectly solved the problem. It has all the features I need (adjustable sensitivity for light, adjustable sensitivity for motion, adjustable mode, and adjustable timing for shutoff. It includes the cover plate, and looks great when installed. I especially liked the small LED in the switch that gently blinks when motion is detected - this really helped with setup. I recommend this unit!

Replaced the light switch in the garage so I do not have to fumble with a switch in the dark or when hands are full. Cost effective way compared to using expensive wifi options that have geofencing or routines

Works well. It has settings for sensitivity as well as time delay for how long it stays on. It was easy to install if you know what you are doing.

I decided to purchase this motion light switch for two reasons. 1) the product was well within my price range and 2) it had good reviews. Like I said, the price was fair and reasonable. Compared to big box stores, this was priced great. The reviews I read all claimed the product to be a great buy. It was made solid. It came as a bundle, so I was able to get the hardware and cover plate all for one price. The plastic faceplate was durable. It came with extra screws, which is nice. ( Those darn screws are small)! Overall I am pleased. It works as described. It has various time out limits, (5,15 and 30) minute limits. I would recommend this product to people who are looking for a sleek upgrade to their light switch with the added feature to automatically turn on and off the lights.

I installed this and it worked flawlessl... for less than 24 hours. The next morning, I walked into the closet where I installed it and the light came on as expected. An hour later I walked past the room and the light was still on. I tried to turn it off manually, but the manual off switch did not respond. I tried changing settings from occupancy detection to vacancy detection, but alas that did not make a difference. I had to uninstall it and reinstall the old manual switch. Very disappointed. I bought two, but only installed one. The other is being returned.

Very cool light switch. We don't even need to turn it on, it just turns on when I walk into the room.

This product works fine as an occupancy sensor light switch. You have to remove the paddle with a small flat screw driver or similar to adjust sensitivity and length, but it's straightforward and you don't have to consult the instruction sheet for how many times you have to tap for adjustment.The only caveat is the manual override paddle's physical construction. It's not very finger friendly.

I tried the GE, Bestin and this product. All are great. This one specifically has the 3 pole compatibility which is a nice touch.

Put this in the bathroom as we have kids who forget to shut lights off. No instructions for adjusting the sensitivity or operating mode. Once I got it set, it is doing exactly what I want it to do

Flawless but... DONT MAKE MY MISTAKE...The detection wont work unless you put the push plate back in place after the install or testing it.

Product did not work at all. Unfortunately I was 4 days past the return date. Very cheap plastic. I will be paying the extra money for a North America product. You have been warned.
