Since my wife ordered this meat tenderizer, the texture of the cutlets she prepares has completely changed. The meat becomes incredibly tender, and those tough connective tissues that used to bother me are now completely unnoticeable. This tool works by breaking down the fibers before cooking, which makes the meat softer and juicier, cutting down on cooking time by 40%.Before, she used a traditional meat mallet, which was not only loud but also made a mess and required extra cleanup. Now, tenderizing meat is much easier, quieter, and doesn’t leave the surface looking battered. The high-quality stainless steel blades are sharp and durable, ensuring a smooth experience without damaging the meat. The FDA-approved, food-safe materials give us peace of mind, knowing the tool is safe to use in our kitchen. It’s also designed to be easily disassembled for cleaning, and it’s dishwasher-safe, which makes maintenance hassle-free. Overall, it’s a great addition to our kitchen, and I can’t imagine going back to the old way of tenderizing meat!

This is my first meat tenderizer and I'm very happy with the results. It's easy to use, affordable and fits well in my hand. It's a little stiffer than I thought it would be but since I only use it a couple times a week at most, I'm ok with that.

I don't usually leave 5 star reviews but I love this tenderizer. I buy pork half loins and cut them up into chops and cook and portion my meat in bulk. Pork is pretty tender compared to beef, but I'm trimming all the fat off and going for a super lean cut which can toughen meat up. I also marinade the chops for a day before cooking so I thought this tenderizer might help the marinade penetrate. This is a game changer for me. I did a 4lb pork loin and the amount of force needed to pierce the meat was not very much and it was very stable in my hand even with wet gloves on. I did each 2" thick chop on both sides and it was effortless. I was left with chops that had those orderly perforations in them like you see in butcher shops sometimes. This also slightly flattened the meat out, which might be good if you're trying for schnitzel or something. The marinade I used penetrated deeply into the meat and the sheer amount of holes has really relaxed the grain of the meat and made it more tender with a softer mouth feel. Best of all it didn't splatter pork juice everywhere and make a mess. It was so easy to use. I love this thing.

I got this to use on porkbelly skin to make it crispy and save me time making a bunch of holes with a knife. I had to really REALLY use some force to get it to puncture the skin. By the time you get any sort of holes in the meat it's flattened it out too. It's very tough to get the blades out which makes it difficult to even clean without hurting yourself. Maybe it will loosen up as I use it.

I’m a chef and I’m not huge on unitasker type tools, but I do love these types of meat tenderizers. Hammers can be inconsistent and won’t break up connective tissue as well as a needler like this does. I use this on chicken before a marinade to help tenderize and help the marinade penetrate easier. What’s great is that the spring loaded blades pierce dozens of times with one motion and it’s consistent. I love doing this to a chicken breast before splitting it for a marinade for grilling, or for fried chicken sandwiches. Works incredibly well on chicken thighs for the best butter chicken. Works great on chuck for pot roast or leaner cuts like eye of round for homemade jerky. At this price, everyone should have one if their kitchen arsenal. It’s an indispensable tool that can upgrade so many proteins. There are lots of renowned steakhouses known for tender steaks and they use these in their kitchen. Highly recommended, especially at this price point

We were looking for a new mallet, for softening meat, but found this. We are quite happy with it. The super sharp needles easily penetrate into the meat to soften it. I think this would also work great as a way to get the flavor inside of the meat if marinating or using a rub. Also included is a small brush to help clean the blades if meat gets stuck, although we had no issue just spraying it off. The description says dishwasher safe, and it may be, but I was reluctant as the handle is hollow and screwed together, and I can imagine a fair amount of water collecting in there.

It worked good to tenderize some skirt steak for fajitas but the spring tension is kind of insane. I removed 1 star because it doesn't make any sense to me for it to be so difficult to push the needles down which also makes it hard to clean. It comes with a small brush for cleaning which helps, but the spring tension just seems so unnecessary. Other than that it seems to be well made.

This is a meat tenderizer. It has round, stainless steel rods with pointed tips that are set on a spring. You push the device into a piece of meat, the rods puncture the connective tissue of the meat, and that process tenderizes the meat. It also provides a small hole for marinade to soak deeper into the meat. I use one of these often. This product works as it should. I was able to clean it just as I do any other meat tenderizer device. I have no negatives about this product. It is not any better or any worse than an average product like this. I have no negatives or complaints.
