Nice product, easy install, look and function. Would prefer flat head screw for a better appearance than Phillips, but I can just replace them though for a little more money.

Exactly what I was looking for. Replacement of a transom chain installed in 1953, except in a black finish. The chain links were the same and the hold down screw holes matched.

I was looking for a chain to support the lid of cabinet I was building. The chain is nice quality and I have no complaints about it. The included screws are a different story. I mounting the chain and broke off two screws. This is despite the fact that I was drilling into relatively soft pine and pre-drilled pilot holes. It's as if they anticipated the brittle screws to break because the chain came with two extras.

These are not brass. They are magnetic. Brass colored steel, both hooks and chain.

I was building 12â€x12†box for some garden tools and wanted something to keep the lid from going beyond about 100 degrees. While this looked good, it was just too big for the size box. Rather than returning, I threw it into the junk drawer for a possible future project. The product is fine, but it’s definitely not delicate!
