I've been wishing for a tool that helps the handling of butter from stick, to spreader knife, to bread, and this butter spreader is it. My inventions were shaping foil around the stick of butter; frustrating due to tearing, sliding around, and the dreaded messy fingers; as did the plastic wrap I tried and the paper towels--all fails. Plus I've never seen a different sized stick of butter not on the east nor west coast, so don't be put off by that size notice. Also, this tool is simple and obvious to use right out of the box.

Don't hold butter sticks properly qualit is not good, top to push butter stick down is not easy to use.
