The pin pointer is not that bad but it's only good for silver and coins but it doesn't detect any gold I tried a bunch of gold necklaces and gold rings and it doesn't detect any of them

This bad boy is essential for ghost town metal detecting. Searching through debris can be slow going. After my detector signals, this pinpointer precisely locates targets within the hole, saving a ton of time. Its small, tough design handles tight spots and rough ground. I use my metal detector but with this little one it pinpoint exactly where the object is located ,it is easy to use , portable , waterproof I went to the beach and no problem at all value for the money

it appears you have to be within one inch of metal to locate. would not recommend
