This is too fast for yarn to work. It is very fast and causes the yarn to have all kinds of issues like winding around the gears at the bottom and seizing up. It's just not a pleasant machine. The cake is so loose at the end that it hardly holds any length to it. It also stops working with just a small amount of yarn wound. Sometimes technology isn't the winner we want it to be.

What’s not to like with this little gem. It works perfectly. Love how quick and neat it winds the yarn. It’s truly a time saver. You won’t regret purchasing this yarn winder.

These MIAOKE Electric Yard Winder with High Speed, is definitely a product that I have mixed emotions about. I have had this a little time now, and have been putting off my review because of my experience with it. The thought of an Electric Winder for Yarn is a crafters dream come true. I have had other winders but they were not electric. This Winder has a High and Low Speed option. You can secure it to a table or wherever to secure it.The first time I used this Winder, it worked like a dream, I was very happy with it and the end result of my yarn. The second time, I had some trouble with it, had trouble getting it to start the yarn and then with the motor. So I had my Son-in-law take a look at it, see if he could see if something was wrong. When he took a look, it worked Terrific again, so he didn't do anything to it. So I tried it again and half way through it stopped. So I let it sit a few house and I was able to finish it, and it worked great again. Well this seems to be a repeating process, some days it works and some days it seems like it don't, like it has a mind of it's own...LOL. Every time I have someone look at it, it preforms great for them...LOL. maybe it's just me..LOL. So when I want to use it, I try and if it doesn't want to work right, I just wait a little while and then try it again and it usually does good. I HAVE A GOOD FEELING THAT THIS IS ONLY MY MACHINE, BUT NOT SURE.As for the Price, I do have to say it's a little high for the result I am getting. It should work correctly for the price.PLEASE REMEMBER THIS IS ONLY MY OPINION.

it is a piece of junk, the motor keeps shutting down and it try's to shack itself apart.I would take one if they were giving them away.

Really horrible. Turns off every few seconds and I tried several thicknesses of yarn. Absolutely awful

motor is strong enough to wind once you have the yarn in a bowl that’s slick enough to move around.

She LOVES it!! I was a bit concerned after reading some of the reviews. However she said it works like a dream and saves her a lot of time.

Might start off working for the first 5 second and then yarna just flies everywhere and gets wrapped around anything that it's not supposed to. It will be running perfectly fine and then just stops and when you restart it never wraps the same again.

It is ok, but as soon as machine feels a little tension stops.

Arrivato in tempi strettissimi.

Bought this for my scraps and all it did was make a bunch of balls of tangles that I didn’t have the patience to untangle. They were super loose and basically fell apart as soon as I took the ball off. Might be better if you wanted to make a roll of an entire thing of yarn but I can use it the way they are bought for 90% of the yarn anyway and was looking for something to do once those get harder to use. I’ll stick to balling them up with my 2 hands!
