I’m really impressed how much they packed into the app and this little receiver.We have a yard that is unfenced on the back side, and we have mostly trained the dogs to stay in. But I had intended for a while to get a GPS receiver for the younger dog, just for peace of mind in case he gets out.For folks who don’t know: GPS is a passive system. A small receiver can monitor position to within a couple feet so long as it can spot broadcasts from a couple of orbiting GPS satellites. The triangulation is standardized and fast such that the chip hardly requires any processing power.However, in order for the chip to share its position, it needs to transmit over a cellular network. That’s expensive, and that’s why all GPS collars like this require some kind of subscription. As far as that goes, this subscription isn’t too bad, and I can cancel if I find I’m not using it.As I said the app is pretty good. You can have multiple receivers and name them, see the current position on a map, set up multiple virtual “fences†with alerts if the dog leaves them, and see a history of the dog’s position.The fence thing leaves a bit to be desired, and I don’t truly know the solution. When the dog comes in the house, the collar loses sight of the GPS satellites and gets very jumpy, leading to multiple “out of fence†alerts. So I end up turning the collar off when he comes in, which might save on battery. It’s not ideal though because if I (…or my wife…) don’t remember to turn it on when we let him out, then it’s not doing anything for us.The fences themselves are pretty rough. Where I live the orthoimagery is about 15 feet off of the mapped parcel lines, and it seems like both are about 15 feet off of where the GPS registers; so I have to set a pretty wide fence to avoid getting multiple warnings when the dog walks along the (physical, wooden) fence.

The app is poor, lags on the tracking. Setting it up it took numerous times of putting in payment option and acted like it wasn’t going through. Then it triple charged me. Also having trouble getting them to recharge. The only customer service number I can find is a sketchy WhatsApp number on the app. No answer when you call it of course. I have left numerous voicemails and essentially spammed them and no luck getting through. There is also no emails listed on how to contact the seller or the app. Terrible

Great product. Works great, nowI can find my lab quickly after he dissappears at the lake when my back is turned. He likes to wonder off visiting people.

My small dog is a runner. This is such a relief. It's exactly what we needed. The GPS is very accurate.
