I would encourage anyone who wants to order this item off Amazon to consider a local source or to at least test the item as soon as you receive it. I ordered this several months ago to replace the batteries in my Midland two way. I have only had the radio set a few years and have used it only once or twice, but I am preparing for a spring hunting trip and got it out to check it. I discovered the batteries would not charge up so I order this replacement set. I didn't use them right away, deciding to wait until closer to the date I would use the radios. The batteries were dead out of the box, which is to be expected. Now that I have tried to charge them up, they will not charge past one bar. They have been in the charger for four days now, and still will not charge up. Of course I have missed my return window so I am stuck with a set of worthless batteries. I guess I will have to use AAA batteries from now on in the radios. Total waste of money and would have probably gone through two sets on Amazon even if I could have returned them. I would advise skipping them altogether. I don't know about you but I only use my radios during hunting season. I think unless you plan to constantly keep them charged, like once a month, they go bad, even sitting in an unopened package.

I installed these battery packs in my Midland radios and put them back into the charger/holder. Now, only a short period of time, the batteries show less than half. The charger is working but the batteries are of such low quality, I cannot depend on them. Makes me wonder what has happened to Midland, a name I used to respect and could depend on for quality items. Wasted about 15 bucks on these and cannot recommend them! I probably overrated them as it is!!

Estas son las pilas originales con que vienen los radios, normalmente usaba pilas recargables y pilas desechables, pero conseguir cargarlas todas se vuelve muy complicado cuando tienes más de 2 radios. Decidà reemplazar las pilas y funcionan perfectamente, sobre todo ahora que puedo volver a usar las bases de carga con que venÃan mis radios. Tal vez no sean las más duraderas en comparación con pilas alcalinas, pero permite cargar todos los radios sin tener que usar un cargador adicional.

The batteries fit fine in my Midland Radio. Each pack contains 2 batteries which I did not see when ordering so I ordered double of what I needed. Just wanted to let others know so they don't miss it like I did.
