This is perfect for cutting those popsicle sticks or coffee stirs you like to use in crafts. Balsa wood strips are also easy to cut with this. I love that you can get angle cuts so easy with this. I actually ordered the larger one and it will arrive in a couple of days. I plan on cutting dollhouse molding with that one. There are all kinds of uses I can find for this. It is well made and comfortable to use, I have small hands so that is a must for me. You wont go wrong with this purchase that is for sure. The price isn't bad either because others run around double the cost.

Got it based on the Science Olympiad forum. It works great most of the time. For some thin less dense pieces of balsa wood with angle cuts, it squishes the wood. Otherwise it makes very good clean cuts.

We absolutely love this tool! My child likes to make things out of sticks, popsicle sticks and other objects. He is able to make perfect cuts with this all by himself. So glad to have found this as he isn't using my nice scissors anymore! If you're on the fence, definitely buy it! It's a great tool for any crafter.

This ad said easy cutter, but I am having difficulty cutting the thin pieces of wood and the angle makes some cuts very hard. Not sure if it is me or the tool.

It works great. I wish I would have gotten a bigger one. But to cut skinny sticks it's very accurate and easy to use.

I have two larger cutters like this but this smaller size is better for craft wood cutting. I’m glad I bought these.

I am using this with my students to cut craft sticks for a classroom project. They cut without much effort and are easy to use.

The blade on my cutter never cut properly because the center of the blade did not hit the base making it impossible to cut through anything completely. Using just the tip of the blade did cut but makes the cutter nearly useless. Note: when I close the cutter there is a gap in the center which is the cause of my problem. The blade was not made correctly.

good and sturdy, the measurements are perfect. They're etched in the surface, not just painted on like some others I've seen.

Cuts well and is good for cutting small pieces of wood.

This is not the most precise cutter out there but works for basic cutting of thinner strip material. the blade has a tendency to push the material just before it cuts, throwing off the angle.

Bon pour couper les bâtons de popsicle régulier, inefficace pour ce qui est moins épais.Good for cutting regular popsicle sticks, inefficient for less thick. I am not impressed by this product.

I make dollhouse miniatures and bought this tool to make it easier to cut thin wood. Unfortunately, while it is great for getting a straight cutting line ( including angles), it is very difficult to. Use for cutting. I am now using it to score the wood, then cut it with a craft knife.
