Bought a black and red one for same dog and never a problem with it. I like that it doesn't have a plastic clasp because some dogs are too strong and may break. My 3 year old looks great in either one. quality is outstanding, color beautiful and worth the money.

Our dog is a Plott Hound mix with a fairly thick neck that is almost the same circumference as his head. So regular collars are either a bit on the tight side or he can slip them if he really pulls back.This collar solves that problem as I can slip it over his head easily, but if he pulls it tightens and keeps him safely with me. The material is sturdy enough to last a while. I got the same color leash and just keep it attached for one step on and off.

We have a nonprofit rescue organization we use only Martingale Collars & prefer no plastic clips that can break so we have been using these.Decent quality.Not crazy about the price that’s why 4 stars instead of 5 stars.

Our dog has always been able to slip from his collar and now he cannot. The collar is great, we love it. Also I can tell it’s very comfortable. We bought the maroon one. Love the color!

This collar and lead has come through in the clutch. I just adopted a 71 pound boxer Great Dane mix who HATES walks and is extremely powerful. I was told to use a hardness and martingale collar. I read prob every review. Once I felt comfortable about the quality and durability of this collar I made the purchase. The collar fit perfectly, but the harness was too big. I took a chance walking him today just to get an idea of his temperament etc. needless to say, he was NOT interested in walking and pulled the ENTIRE time. Whole is wish I had the harness, I can say that at no moment was I concerned that his strength would pop the collar and lead. We made it home safely and will forgo further walks until the replacement harness arrives…but I can say that I may consider buying this collar in every color. I like to coordinate his collars and leads to my outfit and I feel 100% confident in the quality and durability of this collar and coordinating lead.

Das Halsband ist ganz simpel ohne Schnickschnak und schön einzustellen, ich habe mich sehr gefreut. Leider hat es keine 24 Stunden gehalten. Da kann der Hersteller aber nichts für, meine kleine Labrador Dame Tilly hat das Halsband die Nacht durchgekaut..... :) Najooo.

A normal collar doesn't work for my dog - if the collar's tight enough to not come off over his head then it rubs his neck and makes it sore. But if I loosen it so it doesn't rub, then he can back out of it. So this style collar is perfect as when relaxed it sits nice and loose but will tighten up (without choking him) if he tries to reverse out of it. I chose this brand because it has the best reviews out of the ones I was considering. I'm very happy with it - my dog now has 4 in different colours. They're great quality and wash well.
