TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE:
BE SURE YOUR FAN IS COMPATIBLE USING THE ABOVE GUIDE
- Turn off power at breaker to fan.
- Take out receiver unit from ceiling fan canopy next to ceiling.
- Flip dip switches on receiver in opposite direction and reinstall receiver.
- Flip dip switches on wall control in the same direction as receiver.
- Turn on power to ceiling fan. If wall control does not operate fan, then the issue is with the receiver or fan itself, and please contact Minka Aire for further assistance.

Most importantly, this was easy for my husband to replace the older wall switch with this one. We all breathed a sigh of relief once it was on the wall and it looked good, too

My son moved into a new place and the wall switches were all a mess . Half pulled out of the wall, half crushed and buttons broken. I found the exact replacements on Amazon and kept my fingers crossed.Well the wall switches arrived and they were a slightly improved version of the broken ones. In all honesty I did not install them for him. An electrician friend of ours re redid all his switches. He told me the switches as far as wiring goes were exact matches and were not difficult to install.If you need replacement switches don't hesitate to purchase these as they will work with the proper Minks Aire compatible system.

Comes with a set of different colored switch plates, but I used it seamlessly with a double switch plate with a another switch. Simple to install, easy to use. We kept misplacing or dropping the controller that came with the lamp/fan combo, and this is a great solution for us.

Great product when it worksI’ve now bought this 3x because eventually they just stop working. Minka is no help. I’ll just keep returning them when they break.

power control switch is sticky sometimes, otherwise easy to use. 3 stars for reliability - we had turned the switch off on the lower power control and could not get it to turm back on. by a fluke, we tried again and again and it turned on. now we will never turn it off again.this happened about 13 months after purchase, seller did not respond to customer service inquiry at this time. customer service was good when we were searching to replace the original control.
