Great product. No clicky chains, no awkward remote, no ugly non-standard bits mounted by the switches. Just a clean switch and a user-intuitive "dimmer" slider. It works exactly as you think it should. Slam dunk.

Had a ceiling fan set on high in room with 15 ft ceiling. My brother made me aware of this switch that had a built in speed control. Installation was easy, and it makes fan usable without being on high all the time. Highly recommend for any situation where you need to change speeds for different temps but chain switch is hard to reach. Almost makes it remote control! Observe all electric

I have a fan that stopped functioning correctly and only ran on one speed - high! The pull chain seemed to work (it "pulled" right anyway) but no longer would change the fan speed. I had researched this online and everything I read suggested I'd have to replace the fan. Finally, I thought about these wall switches that control the fan speed and decided to give it a try.It works great! So now instead of spending a couple hundred dollars and a couple hours replacing the entire fan, I spent about $20 and ten minutes to replace the wall switch/controller. In fact, it so much more convenient to control the fan by the wall switch that I bought two more for fans in other rooms. Love this and love also that it matches the rocker switches I have throughout the house.

This is a good little switch and I love that it keeps the same "design" as our other switches. The plastic feels a little "cheap", but I installed 3 of them and never had one break/crack and they've been installed for a while now, so I can't complain too much about that. Installation was very easy and the included instructions were quite clear. The little switch to change fan speeds is a little stiff and hard to switch between modes, but once you get used to it, it's not bad. Maybe it will loosen up a little bit with time/use. The main paddle switch functions exactly as expected. All in all, I'd buy these again. They look good and work well.

Lutron makes good stuff. This is good stuff. If you have any electrical abilities at all, it's very easy to install. The instructions are detailed and clear. If you can follow instructions, you probably don't need the aforementioned "electrical abilities". Once installed, the fan controller does what it's supposed to do.I've been going around my house, which has many ceiling fans, and replacing the wireless remotes most of them have with these fan controllers. Some of the fans have pull-chains, and they're getting Lutron wired controllers too. Life is so much better without having to yank on chains or wonder if the batteries are dead in the remote... again. 5-stars.
