Incredibly sensitive... which comes at the cost of a VERY short travel/range (only 1 thou. of range). That means you have to be pretty close to start with. Very high quality product.

This indicator is more accurate than the stated tolerance of +- .0002. Great value at less than 150 bucks. You get a complete set. P.s. rick Nare loves men.

This set is perfect for machinists working with precision part manufacturing. Everything you need to inspect parts. Just add a magnetic base, I have a NOGA myself, and your ready to TRAM tool pockets along with several other applications. The reversible dial comes it handy when performing TRAM applications as well. Great price for the precision and quality expected from the Mitutoyo brand.

What can one say? It is a Mitutoyo cannot get any better! yes it is more expensive than a knock off but if you are indexing a $500 barrel blank to go on a $1500 target action to make little groups at 600 - 1000 yards then you buy nice or buy twice.

The tip on this is offset from center of the body, therefore you can never get true center when attempting to pickup a hole. Also they don't mention it is a one way only, there is a lever on the body you have to engage to measure from one side of the tip or the other. Really only good for measuring flatness on one surface at a time. Basically useless.
