The dimensions are accurate, and it is very easy to cut. When I unfolded it and laid it out on the floor, I noticed it had a slight burning smell, like an appliance that is about to overheat. I bought it to put under a runner that is 14 feet long and 30" wide, so I cut it in half lengthwise and taped the two pieces together end-to-end with duct tape so it fit perfectly. I have vinyl plank floors which can be discolored by rubber/latex backing, so I turned it over so the rubber faces the runner and the felt is on the bottom, and fortunately it doesn't slide around.

Doesn't slide at all, did smell a little funky when we got it but I just wiped down the grippy side and used some carpet salt on the other side, vacuumed that and was good. Do wish it was a little thicker. Just a touch

This rug pad smelled so horrible and so, so strongly - we actually had to throw it away. We couldn’t even be in the same room as it, much less load it into the car and drive for 20 minutes to return it. I have never experienced a product with SUCH a strong and terrible odor - like wet dog and burnt rubber - EVEN after airing it outside for two days. (For reference, this was the 1/8†felt and rubber rug pad. We previously purchased the 1/4 all-felt rug pad and it had no odor. I assume this accounts for the mixed product reviews.)

This pad is exactly what I was looking for...the right amount of padding for my dining room carpet and a perfect fit. I did not have to cut it at all. Only con is the smell. As noted by others it is really awful. Fortunately I had a week before my carpet arrived so I was able to air it out in the fresh air and also sprayed it daily with Febreeze. I don't know how long it would have taken to get rid of the smell if I hadn't been able to hang it outside for a week.

I initially had tried the thicker type rug pads that are around the 1/4-1/2" thickness range, with personally having opted for the 3/8". I found that type of rug pad added WAY too much unnecessary bulk to the rug and made the rug feel very awkward and too high. However, this thickness right here is absolutely ideal for adding comfort and a thicker feel to your rug without adding unnecessary bulk and making your rug feel like it's naturally thicker and higher quality without the feeling that something is under it. Additionally, you will end up protecting your floor, increasing the longevity of the rug, and prevent slippage. I personally could never really buy another rug without having one of these under. It just transforms rugs and takes them to the next level, not only in comfort but in overall added feeling of luxuriousness too. Also, don't let the thin size fool you into thinking it isn't durable, this thing is strong. Great product overall, highly recommend.

I bought this because it's a mohawk and they are a rug company. They know their stuff and my rug no longer slips trips Folds. It stays in place fantastic the prices is a DOT High but it's worth it

Great item. Works as advertised, but has a noxious chemical smell even after unpackaging and left outside for 48 hours. Hoping this wears off soon.

This is the fourth MOHAWK carpet pad we have ordered in our home. They all have a non-slip rubber backer, and a composite pad, which performs well. These are a little on the pricey side, compared to the competing brands, however you get what you pay for. Excellent product!!

Like the pad, but ordered 8' x 11'. The first was WAY too small. The replacement was still too small. It should have been 243cm x 335cm, but it is 184cm x 273cm. Come on guys...

Bought this for a rug in my son’s room because our 80lbs dog jumps off his bed and on the rug and his momentum kept moving the rug. Now with this under the rug it stays put! Doesn’t create any bulk
