Toslink S/PDIF is a one-way communication standard, which means that you need to manually tell your sending device what your receiver accepts. Through some testing I've found the Echo "Studio" to be extremely limited. If you're connecting to your PC, I've found it only allows Dolby Digital, 44.2 kHz, and 48 kHz.The cable itself works great, but only just barely fit's the echo studio. It's as if they were made for each other, it's practically a perfect fit.

It's a cable, OK? It's pretty much a binary thing--works or doesn't. This one works. It does have the added feature of seeming relatively tough. It has decent strain relief, especially good in an optical cable. It's thick so it's probably not best for a path that twists and turns.

This is a great cable, from a company that makes amazingly inexpensive products. The cable is sturdy, with stress relief at both ends, and a clear cap that is attached to each end. That makes the end caps easier to keep with the cable and harder to lose. I tested it with my first gen Apple Airport Express, and it works flawlessly.

Cabo com preço muito bom e perfeito para ligar o som óptico da tv à Echo Studio, que passa a funcionar como um ótimo home theater. Pena que a Echo Studio não seja compatÃvel com a tv LG, e que não seja possÃvel controlar o volume do som dela com o controle remoto da tv. A Amazon poderia oferecer este tipo de cabo normalmente, e sua compra deveria ser sugerida junto com a compra da Echo Studio, pois não é um cabo óptico comum, é uma cabo óptico mini.
