I love this light. We installed this right when you walk in from the garage. Usually our hands are full. The look is great blends in with the other switches. It is easy to use. Easy to turn off. The buttons have great functionality. It is durable. The sensor is great and you can change the timer. It is a great value for the money.

I've installed about a dozen of these motion sensor light switches from different brands. From name to no name ones. Basically they all work the same. This light switch like others are quite large and something to consider when installing them into a single gang box that is also the junction point. This typically means 8 wires instead of 6. That makes for some tight packing of wires.Well onto the function. I've installed some name brand ones that offered sensitivity and time adjustment but no manual stay on function. This is important when needing to stay in a dark room but not in the motion zone. This one had three adjustments - light sensitivity, motion sensitivity, and length of time. Plus manual on button. So far so good. The unit was very light weight compared to the name brand ones but if it works, it works.Recommend for the value.

Had trouble adjusting sensitivity, at first. Worked properly for about 2 weeks, after that my "ghost" must have been playing with as it decided to randomly turn off, on, off, on...btw I'm a Electrician and do actually have knowledge and experience behind this review. Bought an Eaton from Lowe's have had no issues since.

I installed a Heath Company motion detection switch in our garage 20 years ago. It has worked well and lasted all these years, even in the desert heat of Las Vegas. Recently, I switched the light bulbs to LEDs. I soon discovered the Heath switch would not shut off. 24/7 garage lights. After looking at my options, I found this TOPELER Motion Sensor Light Switch for an unbeatable price. Based on what one other reviewer said about their LED light bulb experience, I thought it was worth a try. This switch fixed my problem AND I actually prefer how it works. The push on / push off is much more convenient and intuitive than the Heath's slide switch. One last comment. I was lucky to have had an assortment kit of WAGO connectors on hand with the needed 5-wire connectors. The existing ground, white, and black wires already had four wires twisted together in a wire nut. Adding a fifth wire in a wire nut would likely be a code violation and a fire hazard.

I bought 2 and put one into entry hall switch to detect and turn on light automatically when coming into the house. The 2nd was put into master closet. The features are good and installation was simple. Not too big so it fit ok into tight electrical box.I still have the entry switch installed. It works well and looks into short entry hall and then further into living room. The sensitivity setting allows me to dial it back and it works well. No false triggers that I have noticed.HOWEVER, the master closet switch is uninstalled. It TRIGGERED INCORRECTLY a lot. In bed, lights out, I'd notice the closet light would trigger on. Not sure why. I closed the bathroom door (closet is accessed through bathroom via another closet door) and the switch still triggered??!! Couldn't resolve with sensitivity setting or otherwise (ruled out ghosts, small animals, etc.) so no good for this smaller space I think.

When it comes to home improvement, I don't consider myself a handyman or an avid DIY enthusiast. Consequently, I've often chosen pricier items, believing that the additional cost is justified by the assurance of quality and the convenience of replacing any defective items. For switches, my go-to brands have typically been the more recognized and expensive ones like Lutron or Leviton. However, this time, I talked myself into trying TOPELER, a new name for me. I purchased three pieces, but unfortunately, one was faulty from the beginning and had to be returned. On a positive note, the other two work perfectly fine. The switch offers three modes: Occupancy (ON when motion is detected, OFF after a set duration of no movement), Vacancy (ON manually, OFF after a duration of no movement), and Manual, where it functions like a regular switch. The sensors operate effectively, and there are mini switches beneath the press button for adjusting the mode and time.In comparison to more expensive switches from Leviton or Lutron in the same category, this switch holds up admirably. The only drawback is that it requires a neutral wire, unlike Leviton. So, if your house was wired in the 80's, please make sure you have a WHITE wire (neutral) in the switch box before you buy this one.

I purchased 6 of these to put throughout my house. I wired the 1 switch and tried it, the switch rapidly turned off the on. I thought there was something wrong with the switch. I replaced the switch with another 'new' switch. After it was wired the motion function did not work, so I attempted to manually turn it on. There was a large arc as the internals of the switch melted. I disconnected all the switches and returned them. These are not functional and dangerous, please avoid. Spend the extra money and go get something that is rated for North American shelves.
