I used to have a regular electric paper shredder with the heavy top. It was a pain to have around so I was very excited to discover this handheld, manual shredder for the few times a month when I need to shred things.It’s definitely one of my favorite gadget finds!

This thing is VERY small. Can only shred one 8.5†x 11†piece of paper folded in half at a time. That being said, it works very well and is easy to use! If you are a one or two person household who needs to occasionally shred some mail this is for you. Works well for us and would recommend it for someone who needs to do minimal but necessary shredding.

I would recommend this to anyone who doesn’t want to own an ugly shredder! This was so easy to use! I would totally gift this as well cause I’m such a huge fan of the value and versatility!

I like it enough that I bought a second one after my first one broke. I made the mistake of shoving more paper into the feed than what I already knew was supposed to be the max of two sheets, causing the gears inside to bend out of proportion in every direction. I just wish they made one that you could feed the full width of a letter-size sheet of paper into (8.5 inches), or one where you can insert a sheet folded in half or in thirds horizontally (of course, shredding paper horizontally is not as effective in shredding information, but it would be nice to just have that option).It’s hand-cranked and can only shred one page at a time so don’t expect to be able to do a lot of work with it. It feels kinda nice to use and I consider it almost therapeutic to be able to shred paper manually. It just wouldn’t be the most practical shredder in an office setting.

If you don’t have many papers to shred all the time, this is the perfect product. It doesn’t jam or anything.

It's good for small jobs when you want to shred a few documents occassionally. Have found that one sheet of plain paper at a time is ideal, whereas a few sheets will bend the spines of the shredder preventing it from fully shredding the paper.

Fantastic little shredder, assuming you are capable of following instructions. They say "two layers of paper" at a time. Doing a little reckoning based on the width of the slot obviously means, only one sheet of letter/A4, folded lengthwise.Not fantastic for security, for that you definitely want a crosscut shredder, but a pass through this and a good pair of scissors is good enough for low-volume shredding of documents.

This item is perfect for shredding smaller things like checks and what not. Very affordable and easy to use. I would definitely purchase this item again.

I’ve been hedging about getting a shredder for years. I don’t have a *lot* of personal documents to shred, but my bank keeps sending paper statements despite years of me requesting they stop. And they pile up. Cutting them by hand takes ages. I didn’t want the little plastic crank shredder because it looks like I’d break it in a minute. I didn’t want a big electric shredder because my home is small and space is valuable.Then I found this! It’s perfect! It’s easy on the wrist, and it fits in my stationary drawer. It’s also sturdy. I was expecting it to be made of plastic but it’s metal. It’s kinda fun to use, too.The size of the opening is perfect for inserting paper that has been folded into standard envelope size, but I recommend unfolding your documents, refolding them lengthwise, and feeding them through that way. Not doing this results in ribbons of easily readable full lines.

Es realmente práctico y funciona estupendamente, hace tiras homogéneas y casi sin esfuerzo. El material parece de buena calidad, es compacto y de tamaño pequeño. Estoy contenta de haberlo comprado y lo recomiendo sin duda.

Great compact shredder, just what I was after to shred the occasional document. I've shredded a few dozen bits of paper (individually) so far and it seems sturdy and is easy to use.

What a little gem!Have a regular one, but this one is so handy…wouldn’t be without it now, and will make a great present in the future!
