This replacement lens is somewhat lighter than the OEM mirror. It also does not have whatever coating that dimmed lights behind you.However, it fit my vehicle perfectly and is a much improved view over my old fogged out mirror. A YouTube video showed me how to replace it and I recommend that if you aren't familiar with what to do.All in all, an easy job and an inexpensive fix.

The original driver's side mirror on 2003 Chevy Silverado got weirdly foggy and was basically unusable. This is a direct replacement for it and it worked perfectly.The circle part on the back that clicks in was different from the original, but it worked without a problem. I also needed to use the included adapter to convert it from a 2-plug to a 4-plug. Again, no issues at all. Snug fit with working blinker light & electronic adjustment. Very satisfied.

The mirror was inexpensive and easy to install. It hasn't gotten cold enough to try the defrost mode yet. The turn signal works, so I assume the heated mirror will work. I worried about breaking the connecting base as I pried the old mirror off. The old mirror did break. Oh well, I had a new one

First of all,is not direct fit! I have to buy an adapter to conect it to my truck,i have to spend $10! I thought that was my mistake for not double check compability bit then i read description and says that its a DIRECT FIT!! Anyways problem was fixed just to signal light doesnt work!!! But wait there is more! Mirror has a distortion rigth in the center that you cant unsee!! Smh i know aint paying for OEM QUALITY but nothing works on this cheap mirror!!Now i have to keep it cause the original broke when y replace it with this garbage😡If you looking to buy it dont do it! Waste pf time and money!i wish i can have a refound

First the pros: Direct fit to the original mirror. Didn’t even need the little pigtail connector to hook into the turn signal.Cons: The mirror is the correct size, but it doesn’t line up the same as the original mirror causing it to rub against the housing and distort the image. The leds in the turn signal aren’t nearly as bright as the original and they don’t line up well with the windows in the mirror they are intended for.Overall: I liked that I could just snap it in place of the original mirror (2003 Yukon) but I’d easily pay double if I could get a mirror without the rubbing and with LEDs as bright as the originals. I would not buy this again.

The glass is so convex it is impossible to see anything. Unusable and a safety hazard.
