It's a light stand. It's cheap. It's not going to hold up a big light and massive modifier at full height--but if you don't have a gigantic rig like that, this thing works great.I have a little Falcon Eyes SO-28TD LED light. This Neewer light stand is perfect for it. Just like the product description says--it extends to 6' has a good stable base, folds up nice and small--overall a great little stand. The only thing I wish it had was a carry case--but hey--it's small enough I can toss it in the trunk of my car and take it with me on a shoot--so no biggie. If you need a decent quality, inexpensive light stand--go with Neewer--you won't be disappointed.

I got a few of these since they are cheap and they have definitely come in handy on more than one occasion. They do not weight much, but do have a nice weight capacity for their size. So far I have used almost all of my lights on them and none have broken or even collapsed yet. I do use sandbags for the heavier items, but that is recommended on any stand no matter how sturdy it may be. These can be stored easily and set up in just a couple seconds. Great for the price.

This stand is a dream come true for anyone looking to level up their studio or on-location shoots. The build quality is excellent—sturdy but lightweight—making them easy to transport without sacrificing stability. For the price, this stand delivers exceptional value. Whether you’re a beginner or a professional, the Neewer Light Stands are a solid investment for your gear collection.

I have some Impact stands, and these Neewer stands are definitely lower quality. I knew that when I purchased them, and they serve their purpose. I think they quality was a little lower than I was hoping for, but I have no major concerns that they won't be able to serve their purpose. I just needed a few more light stands for light-duty tasks. If you looking for this form factor but with decent quality, go with Impact stands.

Just bought this along with the Neewer Ring Light and together they really work so well. This stand is adjustable in so many ways and I find that it is super simple and easy to use. It is also very light weight, which makes it perfect for traveling! It stores up nicely by folding into a small, approx 2 feet long stick, which makes it ideal for traveling. The legs also fold in and have a lock to lock them in place. The only con is that due to its light weight, it is a bit flimsy when it is expanded to full length, but it is not super noticeable unless you purposely wiggle it, and I do not generally operate it at full height, so it work very well for my purposes!!

Guess I know going in that these wouldn't be perfect, but I bought two and they are both slightly different and both have issues beyond the usual "oh well, it was cheap" problems. The biggest problem is that the stud is loose on top of one of them; they are riveted on, so its not like I can just tighen it up. When I put a light on there, it kind of bobs around loosely. Not very encouraging. The other stand's legs are so tight that setting it up takes two people (one to push and one to wiggle the legs down the body of the stand). Minus these problems, the stands seem very nice. In hind sight, I would have rather spent a bit more money for a really nice stand then deal with these, but I was on a budget and they do function well enough.

Prend peu de place, léger et solide. Bon rapport qualité prix, mais à ne pas trop charger avec un gros modeleur.

Impressive quality for amateur use and at a very attractive price. The sections slide smoothly and the thumbscrew clamps are easy to tighten. The base legs spread to give a stable support which will be adequate for most amateur-sized lighting, although because of the relatively light weight of the stand I couldn't be sure that it will support a large softbox - but these are not really intended for heavy professional use.I am consistently impressed with the value and quality of Neewer products. Recommended.

They are good and sturdy enough for indoor use and holding lighting equipment such as umbrella, speedlites, reflectors. They also do not take too much space, versatile to use. The quality of the material and sturdiness is definitely not for heavy duty though so I wouldn't recommend them for pro use, I am a hobbyist and they meet the requirements of my occasional non-monetary photo sessions esp. with my super active toddler son!
