I adore my Peak Design tripod except that it can’t pan. I do have a separate head when I need to pan, but I don’t use it much because it adds over a pound to the tripod. That’s why this Neewer panning quick release plate is so great. It lets me pan without the weight…with smaller lenses.I’ve tried out a bunch of camera body and lens combinations with this plate and have decided to limit its use to medium (Canon R5) to small (Sony ZV-E10) size bodies. I don’t feel comfortable using it on the Canon R3. The body is just too big and heavy for this plate to support it properly. The “problem is the entire camera is supported by the 2†panning disk in the center – nothing on either side of the camera. So it’s easy to see how it could get overloaded fast.Similarly, I will only use with my more compact lenses like the RF 15-35 and 24-70 (not that these lenses are small). This being a panorama plate, these are probably the lenses intended for use with it rather than say a tele-zoom sports or wildlife lens. My gut says not to load more than 4 lbs. on it even though it’s advertised for up to 11lbs.The plate functions great as I tested it with the above cameras and lenses. Panning is fast if that’s what you are looking for, but it’s an inexact, loose feel. There are degree markings on the plate if you want to lock in a particular location. I probably don’t need to say this, but using the camera with a self-timer, intervalometer, or other remote is advised if shooting photos. The plate, being Arca Swiss compatible, attached easily in my tripod. It’s 1.5†square though and I wish it was longer for a better lockdown given its purpose is movement. Another quibble I have is the locking knob is a tad short. Once the plate is under a camera, especially one the size of an R5 II, most of the knob is inaccessible, making it hard to unlock or lock as needed. For the price though, it is just nit-picking. The knob is knurled for better grip and twists confidently.Overall, this is a great product, and I think will serve me well and enhance my enjoyment of my tripod now that I can more easily pan to change direction.

I added this panoramic head to my iPhone video shooting tripod and can say it works a lot better than rotating the tripod manually to pan. Most video tripod heads have a long arm for panning, but I find it usually gets in the way when using something as small as a cellphone, so I like how there's just a knob here that doubles as an arm for panning. Fit and finish is really excellent, everything is smoothly machined and high quality along with feeling very sturdy. Everything locks up tightly as well, so no complaints there. It's easily comparable to video heads that are twice as much, so it's a good value in my opinion and so far has worked out great for my use case.

I grabbed this Neewer panning head to pair with my Neewer mini tripod for mobile photography. My larger tripod has a built-in 360° panning head, but it’s too bulky to carry around all the time, so this seemed like a great solution. The build quality seems pretty solid for the price. It's made of metal, not plastic, but it's small and lightweight, so it doesn’t add much bulk to my kit.The panning action is smooth and controlled, just what I was hoping for. The 360° rotation is great for capturing panoramic shots. The scaled markings make it easy to make precise adjustments, though I find the tiny markings a little too hard to read even in daylight. Neewer, if you’re listening – bigger markings, please! The locking knob is secure, so there’s no worrying about unexpected movements. I tested it with my phone and my mirrorless camera, and it handled both without any issues. The quick release plate makes swapping devices super easy, and the Arca-Swiss compatibility is a bonus since I already have plates in that style. While the maximum load capacity isn’t huge, it's more than enough for my current setup. I wouldn't recommend it for anything super heavy, but for action cameras, lighter DSLRs, or mirrorless cameras, it does the job nicely.

Allows you to take 360 photos and video. It is aluminum and simple but very sturdy.

This mount is a simple but effective accessory for Arca-type mounts commonly used on tripods or other mounts. The mount can easily be swapped or removed between cameras by unscrewing the standard screw in most devices. The mount comes with a hex wrench; however, I think it’s unnecessary since you can screw it in with your hand. It has a small flip-down handle that you can grip to turn the screw. The swivel base moves smoothly, has degree markers to measure turn diameter, and can be locked into place with a stopper screw. The mount is well-built and made of metal, not cheap plastic.Note that this mount does not have a built-in bubble level. The description says it has a bubble level, but it is not present in this model.

This works pretty much as expected and feels well made. It rotates smoothly and is easy to tighten and lock into place once you don't need it to rotate anymore. Overall a great pickup.

This Panoramic Quick Release Plate, 360 Scaled Panning Head Camera Tripod Mount…. feels sturdy and well built. The rotation is smooth. You can freeze the dial by screwing in the piece that sticks out. There’s an arrow for alignment on the base and numbers on the dial. The numbers are very hard for me to read even with my glasses, making them useless to me. Probably someone with better vision could read them. It fits nicely on a couple of my tripods and works well with my mirrorless cameras and my point and shoot camera. I don’t know if I would put heavier lenses on it, but for less than $20 it isn’t bad at all. I recommend it.
