I've never had a tripod head like this, and this one was a good price for an entry level quality option. I use it for livestreaming school volleyball matches. It works great to smoothly pan the video so that viewers at home can watch where the ball is moving. I've used it for a couple of years now. I'm not certain of the longevity, since I'm seeing a very small amount of oil or grease seepage around the base. Maybe over time that will prevent it from panning as smoothly as it does now. But the overall construction is pretty sturdy and it really has done very well. I haven't even thought about looking to buy a more expensive brand with more features because this one has done the job.

First off, I am an intermediate videographer, not an advanced professional. With that in mind, I can't say enough how much I love the simplicity of this tripod head. It was the perfect marriage to my Avella C324D monopod/tripod. While it lacks advanced features of other heads, this one fluidly rotates for tilt and panorama rotation and allows you to shoot at almost any desired angle. Its lightweight and compact design allow you to easily pack it away, and quickly set it up for use. I like that the tilt/pan handle folds down for easy stowage. The built in bubble level ensure you are shooting on a level surface in awkward landscapes. I am a huge proponent of a good value, and this is easily one of the best investments that I've ever made.

This is perfect for your small camera. Don't expect a $250 head that can handle a 20 pound load, but you won't be paying that much either. It's small, light weight, and it's really well made. The movement is smooth and easy to adjust and lock down. The quick release plate locks down very securely but is easy to remove when needed.Using this I was able to revive an old sturdy tripod that was missing the quick release plate. This was only $5 more than a new plate and after 30 years that old head wasn't exactly smooth anymore so a new one an easy choice. Cameras have also gotten smaller and lighter and this is more than enough for my mirrorless camera.

I didn't realize how compact this fluid head is until I received it.It will be great for my intended purpose.I use a crop frame Nikon DSLR for photos.I wanted to start taking videos and decided to go mirrorless and purchased a Nikon Z30 mirrorless camera for that purpose.I purchased a Feiyutech Scorp Mini gimbal for handheld videography. This uses an Arca swiss quick mount.I wanted a monopod also, so I purchased the Avella CD324 monopod combo with the video head. This is also a great video head but uses a much larger mounting plate. This video head will work great for all my current cameras as none of them are going to weigh over 6 lbs. with any of my current lenses. It comes with the Arca swiss plate, so now I can quickly swap to the gimbal or monopod. This fluid head is probably about one pound lighter than the one that came with the monopod. It seems well made. The fluid head movement is surprisingly good for the price.Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase.

I needed a cost effective pan head which also has a phone mount, for shooting videos in low light on a cell phone. The tripod I used has a standard camera pan head which moves far too quickly when the tension is released. The Avella allows for more control with the fluid head and the cell mount bracket is included in the package. If I had to purchase a good quality cell mount by itself, it would cost almost as much as the Avella kit. The build quality is surprisingly good. It's definitely not going to stand up to being banged around like the Slik tripod and head which I have owned for over 40 years, but it does the job and will last a long time with a bit of care. Overall I was impressed with this product.

Bought this after watching several different reviews of similar brands with similar features. For the very low price what go wrong. This tripod head is lightweight and small but functions exceptionally well. I used it with my 15x56 Zeiss binos along with a full sized 85mm Vortex spotter during both deer and elk season. To say I glass a lot is putting it nicely. Head pans easily with slight resistance before solidly locking in. Tilt holds position firmly with both the spotter and the big eyes. I used this on a Slik Pro 330-B tripod for a lightweight very packable unit. I think it’s too light to use as a shooting platform but that’s not its purpose. Very impressed and may just buy another one to use with my Slik carbon tripod.

Great quality but only suitable for phone or very small cameras.

I used this for a tripod mount for my 60x spotting scope . It’s pretty heavy. And it hold it great and smooth. Keeps the vibration down to minimal when zoomed way in.. def recommend for the price it’s hard to beat. Very smooth
