This is a great tool for getting a perfectly level tripod head without having to adjust the feet of the tripod bit by bit. We use this on the tripod with a ball head as it’s tricky to move those just a little at a time. Loosen the red lock knobs, use the guide they provide you to get the head level, then tighten the red knobs again. Done! The screws (male and female) fits normal tripods, and this is a solid piece of equipment. Note that it is not light, but very solid. If you want a super-light travel tripod, don’t use this, but count on leveling your pictures when you get home and count on panoramas not fitting properly.

This piece goes between your camera and your tripod. Then you simply turn the leveling wheels until the level bubble is in the center! Seems ok to just leave on mounted on your tripod, as long as you put your tripod in a bag or case. Finely crafted from aluminum and a good value for the money.

I use this to level my Seestar50 and it really makes leveling a breeze. Nicely made. Smooth dial rotation. Lightweight aluminum. This is a no-brainer if you want a quality built leveling device for any situation.

Using this to level an S50, which it does really well. The level removes from the scope and tripod easliy and stores under the tripod inside of the S50 case. Very happy with this.

I love this item for interior photography where I need level single shots, making little micro-adjustments when the tripod is half inside a room with a slightly different floor is super helpful. But I bought this to shoot panoramas and it's nearly impossible to level it for even a narrowish 120-degree shot. Even with the locking nuts tightened down, there is still a lot of movement possible in the head and I recently noticed I've been getting a lot of extra shake from the the mirror slap on my D850. Ruined a pretty nice sunset I was shooting yesterday.

I bought it based on previous positive reviews by photographers. I haven't been able to put it to the test as I need an adapter for the screw on my tripod. since it's more sturdy, it has a bigger screw at the bottom of the base. I would recommend it based on other positive reviews.Martin
