You'll never get true espresso from any of the nespresso machines as they don't give you the fine control OR fresh coffees you need to unlock that sweet syrup. That said, you can get quite nice strong coffee from them if you buy quality coffee capsules (nestle's are iffy) or pack your own and use them to make small (15-20ml) amounts of brew from the 4-5 gram capsules.. The technology is certainly convenient if only a 5 or 6 on a 10 scale in flavour results.Of the nespresso style pressure coffee makers this one does very well, is standing up to multiple times a day use, has a nice small form filter, and is easy to clean. Once you've decided to do the capsule bit, this is as good as it gets for functionality without trying to get fancy.

I had another nespresso machine for years , much larger, it finally quit on me and I decided to downsize. I got this machine and I am in love, it makes a great espresso and hardly takes up any space. The machine itself works as well as my old machine, with all the great nespresso percs, it is a win win. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Fallen in love with this, love the coffee , easy to use, easy to clean. Only one thing , the coffee is not piping hot, I heat for 5 sec or so in microwave

after just 10 days the machine started giving out a burning smell. amazon and seller have been most unhelpful. I now have this expensive machine in its box and don't know what to do
