This multifunction tool has a very good build quality and is powered by a rechargeable internal battery. It comes with a short USB-C cable for charging and an instruction book with illustrations, although the print is a little small. Use of the device is fairly intuitive, but it's nice to have the detailed instructions for all the modes of this device. The tool, instructions, and USB-C cable all fit into the included nylon holster. All three functions -- level, distance measurement, and wall detection -- worked well for me. The settings menu can be used to turn the voice function on or off, change detection sensitivities, and select units (meters, feet, inches, or feet & inches down to 16ths). The device turns itself off after a couple of minutes, and battery life seems to be very good. Accuracy is excellent. This one handheld device can replace multiple other tools, and is easy to use with the advantage of having the instruction book in the holster if you ever need it.

This is a combination tool that helps with leveling, stud finding, and a variety of distance measurements. It is USB-C-rechargeable so no batteries required.Stud finding worked well, comparison pic with this unit detecting metal behind a wall at the same point my usual go-to stud finder found a stud. One can use this to plot points for area measurements, as well as just distance. This unit performed as well as my distance-measurement-only device, from my test at 2 feet and 6 feet. The included re-closable pouch is big enough to take the unit, instruction manual, and charging cable.Instructions are okay, they did well enough to tell me where to go to change metric measurements to imperial. Good multi-function tool, just be sure to top off the charge before a project because you can't just throw new batteries in it if the charge is out.

I really like the unit for what it is, but I feel like there may be a couple too many features packed into it leading to a confusing experience using the device. I really like the laser measuring feature, it is accurate down to 1/32 of an inch tested at several lengths. It instantly tells you the distance and can save them in a line so you don't have to write each one down which is nice. I find the stud finding features to be a bit confusing, and the metal and AC finder to be a bit gimicky. I also don't really understand the area features yet but one day when I need them I'm sure I will figure them out. For me, the distance is all I'm really looking for and for that it works well. The level feature is also nice and works well from what I can tell. Charge lasts a while.

The stud finder came mostly charged, so initial charging did not take very long. The instruction manual is well written, although the writing is a bit small; after a quick read, the device is very intuitive to use.I was able to easily find known studs in the wall. I think the hole to mark the stud is brilliant. The hole is not quite big enough to use a carpenter's pencil (at least the ones I use), so keep a number 2 pencil handy - you never thought that school requirement would apply post graduation, did you?The device is very light and easy to hold. I did not check for live current yet, but the stud and measurement functions are accurate.

This 3-in-1 laser measure/level/stud finder tool is good but not great. As a stud finder, I found that it worked perfectly on my sheetrock walls and did a decent job on my old lath & plaster walls. Better than any other electronic stud finder I have used before even! As a distance meter, it was pretty close, maybe a 1/16 of a inch off. Much faster than a tape measure, and no worrying about the tape drooping and crashing to the ground either when spanning a gap. As a level, I wouldn't trust it. It gave me 2 different readings differing by a degree depending if it was in portrait or landscape mode.I think the best use case for this would be as a tool to make quick estimates. But for anything requiring actual cuts or which needs to be level, best to spend the extra time using the proper tool.

I have plenty of levels and stud finders of varying quality, from "pro" to "sketchy". I never bought an electronic measuring tool for some reason, and always wanted one. This tool does a great job on estimating the length of a wall or the size of a window, which I like. It has some real advantages over a spirit level for specialized tasks, and works well as stud finder. So this tool goes in the tool box where I am the tools I need for most jobs without going out to the workshop. It will get a lot of use!

I received the NOYAFA stud finder with multifunctional measuring capability. The unit has multiple options and are reasonably well described in the accompanying user manual. There a lots of settings for finding metal or wood studs and AC electrical wiring. The laser measurement tool also has options for linear, triangle, volume and other options. The unit comes with a USB-A to USB-C port in the unit for charging along with a nice fitting nylon carrying case. I tried the unit out on wood studs, linear measurement, angle measurement and it provided uniform results on multiple repeats. There is a range of settings that are available including feet, meters, etc. The unit also has a voice broadcast that will speak the results.

Works right out of the box. You can set it for metal or wood studs. Pretty easy to use out of the box too. My husband didn't read any instructions, and was still able to make it go. Good size for fitting in the adult hand. Neither huge nor puny. Finds electrical, too. Very useful. Nice and light. Comes with a pouch that can go on your belt (if you wear one). Very happy with the order. A+ Great useful item for anyone who works on their house, or is just doing something simple like hanging art.
