The main display is about 5†x 8â€, with the active screen portion about just under 4†x 7â€. On that display the inside temperature and relative humidity (at the main display location) as well as a general weather forecast (sunny to cloudy to heavy rain in 8 increments) based on the barometric pressure. The documentation acknowledges that this weather forecast is only about 75% accurate, but then my smartphone weather apps seem to be about the same and they’re not truly local. There are also indicators showing the direction of the current trend for temperature, relative humidity and barometric pressure. These features make for a pretty comprehensive indoor weather station, BUT there’s more…The unit comes with 3 remote sensors! Each of the 3 weatherproof sensors measures all of the same things as the main unit, AND the documentation says that in open air they have a range of about 500 feet. I was prepared for this rather tremendous range not to really work. I was thinking back to walkie-talkies in my youth that said they would go a half mile but 100 feet was more the reality. So I put one of the remote sensors outdoor about 30’ from the main unit. The second remote sensor went into a storage area in a separate stucco house about 100’ from the main unit. And the third remote sensor went into a stucco garage about 140 feet from the main unit. Well a few hours later all 3 remote units were reporting reliably to the main unit, even through 2 stucco exterior walls and 4-5 interior walls! I am seriously blown away!!The unit has alarms/alerts (if you want to set them) for high or low temperature and humidity and that makes this product useful to identify if a heating or cooling system has stopped working before damage is done (this model doesn’t send texts or emails but maybe the next version will). I keep supplies in one of the buildings that I can’t let freeze so this is useful to me.I feel that the main unit and remote sensors are well built. The manual is very sensible and readable. I would have liked to know the expected battery life on the remote sensors, but I’ll have to wait and see. I expect that colder locations will have shorter life so maybe that is why it was not stated in the manual. So with 4 sets of sensors in total I was and am impressed. It’s worth 5 stars to me.

I have been using the baby brother to this unit from this same company for some time now and been very happy with it. It does not have the weather sections on it and it's not color, just LCD monochrome. I was invited to try this color version out and I am very happy with the results. It sets up super easy and looks great. And unlike my older, more expensive La Crosse color stations, this unit has 3 remotes plus the readout on the main unit so you can monitor 4 locations at once where the La Crosse only has the one remote. And the distance you can set up the remotes is really good. It has fairly large digits, is very versatile and the screen readout looks great. My only 2 complaints on this unit is that it does not have a Date and Time section which I like having but is OK at this price. The other thing is the power supply plug style. This one has a very small proprietary round type plug rather than the USB-C type that has become so common. If you ever lose this supply or it goes bad, you will probably have a hard time finding a replacement that fits it which will leave you with the battery only option and I am tired of having to change expensive batteries all the time. It's not a big deal, but with everything going to USB-C, I don't know they wouldn't on this unit as well. Overall I am very happy with this unit and I would recommend it if you're looking for a nice little Weather Station at a great price. One note however: the remote units for this station are the same as for the smaller non-color baby brother like I have so you CANNOT run more than 3 remotes at the same time without causing some confusion. Either one can only read 3 remotes at a time so with 6 going, who knows what will be reading where? I doubt many people would ever run into this but just a heads up. I can still use the smaller station but I can only have 3 remotes going at a time so both stations will show the same remotes readout. So, I guess I now have 3 spare remotes for in the future!

Super pleased with this product. It is a great value for a cool weather station that we look at every day. We replaced a unit from a different manufacturer, with far fewer features and capabilities. The old one was very erratic and was constantly eating through batteries. This OBET unit exceeds expectations. It has a large multi-colored display with 4 zones (brightness can be adjusted) and it's really easy to read from across the room. In addition to temperature, it also monitors humidity/rain, air pressure, min/max, trend, provides a forecast and has some alert features. The 3 included satellite sensors are placed around my property, one is at least 100ft away from the main unit and they all transmit without any interruption (unlike our old unit). They don't make any high-pitched transmission noises, and they do not interfere with our wifi, our remotes, or any of our other electronics. Highly recommend.

The large color display panel is easy to read even from across the room. Colors allow you to see the different temperature sensors with ease. The sensors are the same as other Obet weather stations, allowing stations in different rooms to read the same sensors. The sensors, when read from the same location, only differ by a few tenths of a degree. The addition of a barometric pressure reading also adds functionality to this station. I highly recommend this item.
