I recently purchased on Amazon a bigger more heavy duty gaming chair. One of the reviews mentioned the main thing they did not like about the chair, was that one of the wheels broke. So I bought a set of these wheels ahead of time and planned on using them instead of the stock wheels. I quickly found out these are very good wheels, that roll well even on carpet. They are very smooth thanks to the ball bearing construction, and the frame holding them together seems to be pretty heavy gauge metal too.Give these a try they work very well, and are at a good price.

Took nearly a minute to install, and that was the hard part. They roll easily and quietly, don't get stuck on my tile floor, and make moving around much easier. Good choice, and a good value.

If you are like me and roll around in your desk chair, then these are for you. Easily roll over tile, seams in the flooring, carpet, etc. I roll around my office from printers, to cutters, to 3D printers and these are the answer. The small plastic wheels that come on most office chairs suck for power users like myself.. haa haa Shipped fast, great quality and IF these ever wear out I will 100% be buying them again and for all my future office chairs.

As a tall person, I definitely appreciate the extra height this gives my office chair.It's definitely smooth on laminate and wood floors. However, taking it on to any style of carpet has been an issue. I think it may be because these are the equivalent of rollerblade wheels, and there's only one, I've had definite issues on carpet where the wheel locks into place for a couple of inches during movement. I would recommend these for smooth surfaces and tall people. They're almost too fast on a smooth surface. The first time I pushed off I was expecting regular office wheel performance, instead I was at the Olympics.Installation was relatively easy as I have popped off a lot of office wheels in my time. My recommendation for anyone not familiar with installation is to get a towel and a sturdy screwdriver or flat piece of material. Make sure you use the included grease to lubricate the metal post, put the towel over the wheel and use the screwdriver on its side to press it firmly downThese definitely have less road noise than a typical office wheel.They perform better than expected, please be careful if you are someone who likes to wheel your chair around the office, because you can find yourself from one side to the next a lot quicker than you might think if you push off to hard, or even push off a little too medium.Definitely worth the extra couple bucks at time of purchase versus a regular set.I did have to deduct one star because they say that these are for carpet, and I have not found that to be true even on the lowest of weaves, or whatever the technical term is for carpet density.

I had knee surgery and was non-weight bearing for a minimum of 4 weeks. The crutches hurt my hands and back and I can’t carry things while using crutches, so I bought a small rolling stool to get around my home. I didn’t want to bother downstairs neighbor with the sound of an office chair rolling around at all hours of the day/night, so I decided to get rollerblade wheels since I know they’re quieter than standard office chair wheels and I’ve heard they roll better too. These are great! I didn’t install the original casters that came with the stool, so I was able to pop these right in without any issues. They are much quieter than regular wheels, are able to get over the tile threshold between the hallway and bathroom (regular casters wouldn’t be able to), and I can zip around quickly from hardwood to carpet without any issues. They also don’t damage the hardwood! Perhaps they are too quiet, however, as they are virtually silent if you’re not sitting on the chair. Thus, if I don’t park it properly, my unattended stool rolls away from me to the other side of our (very) slanted kitchen floor without making a sound, so it’s a good thing I looked down before sitting! I’ve been using them everyday for a month now and love them so much I’ll be buying some for my actual office chair too. So if you’re looking at the reviews wondering if these cheap wheels are really that great, they are!
