I spent a lot of time and effort looking to use multiple monitors for my old laptop. What I didn’t know is I needed a device that will both split and extend my laptop screen. There are splitters, and there are extenders. Splitters simply duplicate the same machine like you’re watching a demo in the TV store. But extenders actually make your original screen bigger and it can be used on multiple screens as in move a program to one screen move a different program to a different screen and so on and so forth. I wish that there were a cheaper version because I paid over $90 for this one, but it does what it needs to do.

No tuve problema en conectar, por ahora 2 monitores de diferente resolución y ratio, más un tercer conectado en un puerto independiente HDMI de la PC. Driver required for Windows and Mac.

Used to set up a multi screen work station and it has been good so far. I didn’t expect it to need a power supply as others I own didn’t need power so that was the only “surprise†I had. Quality is nice.

Unit is basically garbage, it intermittently shows all four monitors, goes black, and does not consistently keep all four monitors showing picture. I have to restart (i.e., unplug and reconnect the USB3 cable) in order to get the picture back. I used it for a presentation I was doing (was embarrassed as the monitors keep losing picture, randomly going black, after reloading drivers, changing PC's, etc.). I will have to search for a better and more reliable product. DONT BUY!!! Also, if they contact you to offer you a refund, good luck in actually receiving it! Chalking this up as a loss.

Not cheap, well worth the money. Easy installment, download software and plug an play.
