  • Crucible use temperature: less than or equal to 1600 degrees Celsius. And the heating rate is recommended not to exceed 50 degrees Celsius per minute.
  • As the crucible material is the alumina, try to avoid firing and alumina chemical reaction of the test.
  • please note that the test process of heating and cooling as slowly as possible. This will extend the service life of the product.

No issues heating it to 1800F (1000C) in a muffle furnace and then cooling off slowly.

i highly doubt this is a real 99% alumina product. catastrophic failure on FIRST alumina powder calcination...
