This unit is a great value compared to say the ScanGuage which costs 3 or 4 times more and provides less information on an old-timey Screen. This unit has a crisp, color screen that provides a wealth of useful information on your vehicle while on the road or parked. It will not clear codes however there are other gadgets that do that.

It no.longer reads ECT or RPM. Both of these are ready my obd2 scanners, so the issue is with this device, not the vehicle.

Reviewing OTPerformance OTP-XS HUD Head Up Display for Car, I ordered this for my SO. He loves to mod out his car. He also loves to be able to read the RPM’s and speed together. He mentioned he is using his own mounting bracket (one for an old GPS he had) but other than that, he had no issues installing this (he said it was almost plug ‘n play) and he loves the colors and the amount of info it provides, as well as the responsiveness. Unfortunately, you can’t mix and match (his term) the screen metrics. My term is you can’t customize each screen to display what you want. They are preset. Rating 4 stars.

The power cord shorted out and melted, filled my truck with smoke and even burnt a line in the carpet where it was laying. Dammit

My Fiat Abarth Turbo benefits from this gauge. Now I can read MPH & RPM in daylight. The PSI boost reading is great. Compass is not easy to read, but OK. The color options do not suit me. It is difficult to get to the settings menu. I can not get my desired digital read-outs in the second (analog) tach display.
