We are an older couple, and recently have needed a good jar opener. My wife has used the opener for cans, all sizes of jars, small bottles, and can tab tops. We had tried to use another opener, but it was worthless and fell apart. This product is very well built, is versatile for all types of opening jobs, is priced very fairly, and does not require a great deal of effort to use it. Highly recommended.

I'm very happy with this jar opener. I had previously purchased one of those electric ones, but it didn't get the tough lids off. I thought about getting one of those that mounts underneath your cabinet, but people complained about it chewing up the jar lids. I didn't have high hopes for this one, but there are some jars that I just can't open anymore. This thing works like a dream! I am so glad I got it. Highly recommend!

First, this definitely works on stubborn jar lids. BUT, and it is a big but, you need three hands to use this thing. It is really stiff so it takes two hands to separate it far enough to put on the jar so you need a third person to hold the jar steady for you. If an older person, a person with arthritis, or a person without a lot of strength tries to use this, I think it would be very frustrating. Still, once I did manage to attach it, worked like a charm.

This is a good jar opener, not a great one. It isn’t versatile enough to open large lids. Other than that it is effective in easily opening other jars.

I brought this for my mum she has said its brilliant she can open a bottle of bleach which is the first time in over a year also small jars like the mint sauce she can now also open she has really bad arthritis for over 15 years and has struggled with opening things for some time. So far the tool has done the job
