The jar opener for weak hands is designed to save you from having to struggle with too tight jars and lid tops, great for the elderly, those with weak hands, arthritis or weakened arms. It can also be used as a coaster to protect your table top , as a non-slip mat, as a thermal pad...

I like that these are a bit thinner than some and have a smooth side and a slightly textured side. Some I’ve had are thicker and too textured to grip well. Good price too.

I use them to open jars. They work great.

I'd stay away from these and order something that firmly fits over the lid of the jar you're trying to open. These don't grab the jar... at least they don't when you have arthritis. I wouldn't buy these again.

These were surprisingly thin and without a textured side. They were smaller than I expected and aren’t as easy to use as I thought they would be.

These rubber circles are all but worthless. I'm a senior, and I need help opening water bottles. I owned a rubber disc like this that worked beautifully, but I lost it. I ordered these, and they are worthless right out of the box. They won't open even a small water bottle. These are slick on both sides, whereas the one I lost had some nice texture to it that grabbed the bottle lid. I should have known when I saw how inexpensive these were that they wouldn't work. Don't waste your money.

I was having such a hard time just opening water or soda bottles. Not only are the lids tight, but the plastic gripping areas actually hurt the skin on my hands! These rubber jar openers are perfect!! I love it when an items delivers more than expected!

I am an old guy, and my grip strength is not what it used to be. I used similar pads years ago, with success. These are quite good, standard, and they permit me to grip things which my decreased grip strength no longer permits me to grip. I use a coffee mug, metal, and have to screw the top on firmly to keep it from leaking. I used to be able to unscrew it without any assistance, but now my grip slips. These pads make my grip firm. I have occasionally used them on recalcitrant Jar tops. Equally helpful.

Helpful when the jar lid is screwed on tight.
