12vDC Hard-wired
Our dual gas alarms are specifically designed for RVs. They use 12vDC power which is common in almost every RV so you don't need to change battery or find alternative power source.

I was surprised at how easy this was to install in our RV. When ours failed, I worried about finding a good replacement. This one fit well, has extra features that our last one did not, and is attractive.

I needed to replace the detector in my motorhome. The factory one was so plain and bland looking. This one is much more modern looking. Works well and was very easy to install.

The old detector alarmed after 5 years. Apparently, that's all the longer these last. This replacement fit exactly, was a better quality, and also had a digital readout. Pretty good value for the money! All I know now after a couple months is it tests okay, is easy to read, and doesn't give false alarms.

Faulty! Just like other reviews, we haven't had it but a couple months and already started with the false alarms. The insane part about that, is that when we DID have a propane leak, the thing didn't even go off!!! We were sleeping and I happened to smell propane, sure enough we had a leak. I wish we had never gotten this thing. Complete waste of money. It has kept me up all night, many nights with it's false alarms. We've shut off and disconnected all propane and it still goes off. Don't buy this alarm. Unfortunately, it seems to turn faulty after the return window for many.

Easy install. Hint, when removing old unit, cut wires close to the defective unit. The more wire you have to work with, the easier it is to install.
