Just what I was looking for to use on an older style valve for my propane tank. I may not be able to get it filled again because of the age, but it is full and in good shape, but the valve would not let me hook up a generator, but this adapter allows that for now, just perfectly.

This adapter works well, but it seems that it sometimes does not get tied enough and will loosen when screw screwing an item onto it

Great little product- I had tanks that were leaking; I couldn't get the regulator to seal up- was ready to buy new replacement tanks or rebuild these with new valve assemblies. Installed this adaptor; problem gone! Easy fix, just need a wrench. I can transfer it to the either of the two old leaking tanks without issue, or use my newer tanks like usual. No major adaptation needed.Great little product.BTW, It also saved a full tank of propane- couldn't use this full tank, or transfer the fuel, so it actually paid for itself on the first use!

This has been working great for a few months with zero leaks makes it possible to fill a 100 lb stand up propane tank. If you have a tall tank that needs filled at a gas station get this works great . Just add some silicone grease to the tip of the rubber washer or O ring
