This does the job perfect it’s nothing fancy but for the price you can expect more. The pole is sturdy and it collects everything out of the water just like I need it too. I would definitely recommend.

I got this pool skimmer to replace the one I got at Walmart. I had left mine out in the sun and the net disintegrated. Note to not leave pool skimmers sitting outside in the sun.It's still winter and I haven't had a chance to use this skimmer yet, so am providing a review on visual comparison with my old skimmer.I kept my old skimmer even though the net is ruined and I'm glad I did because I will use the old skimmer pole with the new net from this skimmer.The picture shows my old skimmer and the new one, this product, beside it. I fully extended both poles so you can see the difference in length. You can see this product's net is smaller and doesn't appear to be as sculpted around the edges to help pick up debris. This product's aluminum pole is shorter and lighter and is harder to extend, doesn't slide as easily as my old one. It feels cheaper than the pole of my old skimmer.This product's skimmer net fit on my old skimmer's pole so I will use it.At the time of this review, the same skimmer I got from Walmart is the same price as this skimmer.I will update my review after using it, especially if it doesn't pick up debris well.

I have no pool but I have three garden ponds and each of them have small aquatic plants that over-populate and have to be scooped out. A fish net with a large bag is really unwieldy full of plants but this net is very lightweight and can be extended so it works in all three ponds. They vary in size from four foot across to ten feet across. This is a great net for getting debris without getting the fish.

10.6 by 16.5 inch skimmer net with telescopic handle. Expandable from 30.7 inches to 48 inches.This skimmer net is perfect for hot tubs and smaller pools. I have a 8-foot by 30-inch Pink INTEX metal frame pool, so I needed a smaller skimmer net that had a shorter pole, and this is absolutely perfect.The skimmer has super fine mesh, collecting the smallest of debris. Scoop, tap the debris off the net, and repeat. A quick rinse with a hose cleans off the fine mesh.Very pleased. Highly recommend. Just double check that this is the size of skimmer and pole that you need for the depth and circumference of your pool.
